The system of Johnson parametric families with unified meaning of parameters is based on the formerly introduced concept of a core function distribution. The Johnson families have a new parameter called Johnson location, which can be treated as a 'centre of the mass' of the distribution. Random samples taken from them can be properly characterized by the estimates of the Johnson location.
