The conditions for observing NMR on the ⁵⁵Mn nuclei in the ferromagnetic manganites are specified and the information which may be extracted from this NMR are discussed. As examples, the study of the order of the magnetic phase transition and the coexistence of different ferromagnetic phases in the ferromagnetic manganites are presented
