    AnnotationThe syngas, especially the mixture of hydrogen and carbon monoxide, was produced by the decomposition of biomass using a water-stabilized DC plasma torch as a source of high temperature in the atmosphere without a presence of oxygen. The influence of added carbon dioxide and the plasma torch power was investigated. The composition of the produced syngas and the content of tar were measured by the means of mass spectroscopy, gas and liquid chromatography and FT infrared spectroscopy.
