Die komputistischen Berechnungen spielten im Mittelalter eine wichtige Rolle, sowohl in der Liturgie als auch im Alltagsleben. Der Artikel untersucht, welche Umstände die Sprache der komputistischen Traktate beeinflusst haben. Die Entwicklung und die Änderungen des Stiles und des Wortschatzes, die die Zeit der Entstehung und den Kreis der Benutzer reflektieren, werden mit Beispielen aus gedruckten und handschriftlichen Quellen belegt.

Computistical calculations played an important role during the Middle Ages for liturgical as well as for practical purposes in everyday life. This article investigates the influences of the very specific terminology used in computistical literature. The development and the changes in style and lexis, reflecting the date of origin as well as the target audience are shown with ample textual examples from the partly unprinted sources.
