We then decomposed the joint motion pattern of both wings into components that had the minimal mutual information. In this way we identified 4 distinct patterns of wing stroke modulation that are under independent physiological control. Three of these modulations can be associated with the control of yaw torque, total flight force, and pitch torque, respectively. The fourth pattern consists in a fast modulation of the wing stroke with a periodicity of two stroke cycles Pracoviště Fyziologický ústav Kontakt Lucie Trajhanová, lucie.trajhanova@fgu.cas.cz, Tel.: 241 062 400 Rok sběru 2016
