The study investigates whether the differences in size and shape of the male and female vocal folds together with the fundamental feequency. The difference can affect the magnitudes of maximum amplitude of the tissue acceleration, and whether there are some extra differences in maximum impact stress using a two-degrees of freedom aeroelastic model of vocal folds selfoscillations.
