This paper deals with some historical technologies for protective treatment of timber. It discusses important issues in a complex survey of historical timber structures. Examples are presented of specific analyses and surface surveys of historical timber structures regarding technological traces from surface treatments against biological attack and fire.

Článek uvádí metody a příklady průzkumu technologických stop na dřevěných konstrukcích. Zabývá se podstatnými prvky komplexního průzkumu historických dřevěných konstrukcí, zejména speciálními analytickými metodami vyšetřování povrchu dřeva a stop po biocidní ochraně či ochraně proti požáru.
