The correspondence among species assemblages of reference sites and abiotic types was tested on Czech Republic streams and benthic macroinvertebrates with respects to application of Water Framework Directive of European Community in this area. The site-specific approach, which is independent on typology and deals with abiotic conditions (descriptors) of a particular site or stretch, is associated with predictive model PERLA developed in the Czech Republic. Classification of water bodies with the Elbe and Danube systems in Bohemia and Moravia is suggested.

Jsou testovány vztahy mezi komunitami druhů a referenčními lokalitami toků České Republiky v souvislosti s aplikací Direktivy o vodách Evropského společenství v této oblasti. Habitatově specifický přístup nezávislý na typologii a popisující abiotické podmínky určité lokality nebo části toku je diskutován s ohledem na prediktivní systém PERLA vyvinutý v České republice. Je navržena klasifikace tekoucích vod v povodí Labe a Dunaje v Čechách a na Moravě.
