The approximate orientation of the magnetic field within the prominence/filament fine structures was derived using the morphological analysis of the filament and the comparison of the observed and synthetic spectral lines. The agreement of the results of such two different methods suggests that the synthetic Lyman spectrum can be used for the analysis of the magnetic field orientation.
