The conference organized by the European Society for the History of Science, the Charles University in Prague, the Institute for Contemporary History of the CSAS and other institutions, was devoted to the centenary of A. Einstein’s stay in Prague. It comprised three main topics: Mobility of Scholars between Universities since the Age of the Enlightenment; The "Visiting Professor" Phenomenon and the 100th Anniversary of Einstein´s Stay in Prague.
