V katedrále byly pro uplatnění geofyzikálního výzkumu určité překážky. Mikrogravimetrická data byla ovlivněna stavebními prvky budovy, vyvýšený prostor chóru a schody měly dopad na termometrii. Přesto mikrogravimetrie jasně potvrdila existenci hrobky a dokonce i její tvar. Termometrická data byly v dobré shodě s těmito výsledky. Proto byla v navrženém místě provedena vrtná sonda a kamerou pak nasnímám celý vnitřek hrobky.

From the point of view of the applicability of geophysical techniques, there were some restrictions on the site. In case of microgramivetry, the "topographic" effect of the platform elevation had to be considered. Elevated surface of the floor, limited by staircases from three sites, may have also some side effect on the thermometric data due to the warming and cooling of the ground. However, the most significant limitations were experienced during the electromagnetic and magnetic susceptibility surveys due to metal objects inside or above the floor.
