Mitochondrial dysfunction in glycolytic cancer cells results in disturbed physical processes, very likely generated electromagnetic field, with consequent cell defective behavior-local invasion and metastasis. Cancer therapeutic strategy targeting mitochondria may restore physical functions of cells and open apoptotic pathway. Dichloroacetate treatment may lead to development of new anticancer drugs Pracoviště Ústav fotoniky a elektroniky Kontakt Petr Vacek, vacek@ufe.cz, Tel.: 266 773 413, 266 773 438, 266 773 488 Rok sběru 2013
