The paper describes a theoretical contribution to description of a crack growing in one elastic material and penetrating through the interface into the second material.Conditions are formulated for the stability of a crack terminating at the interface. Results are applied to assessment of two-layer pipe damage.

V práci je uvedena metodika popisu chování trhliny šířící se přes rozhraní z jednoho elastického materiálu do druhého. Jsou formulovány podmínky stability pro trhlinu s vrcholem na rozhraní. Výsledky jsou použity pro hodnocení porušování trubky složené ze dvou vrstev.
