The authors discuss two recently discovered paintings by Bartholomeus Spranger: Cupid Carving His Bow (USA, private collection) and Christian Truth Prevails Time (Czech Republic, private collection). Their iconography is analyzed and both are dated to the final period of the artist’s life (1605–1611).
