Anotace
Sowohl Pavla Šimková als auch Laura Kuen beschäftigen sich in ihren aktuellen Forschungsprojekten mit peripheren Landschaften und deren Veränderung im Laufe der Zeit. Die Podiumsdiskussion soll dabei zwei periphere Räume ins Zentrum der Aufmerksamkeit stellen: die bayerisch-böhmische, sowie die ukrainisch-slowakische Grenzregion. Dabei werden neben inhaltlichen Aspekten auch unterschiedliche methodische Ansätze zur Analyse von grenznahen Naturräumen diskutiert.

In their current research projects, both Pavla Šimková and Laura Kuen are dealing with current research projects are concerned with peripheral landscapes and their and their transformation over time. The panel discussion will focus on two peripheral spaces in the centre of attention: the Bavarian-Bohemian, as well as the Bavarian-Bohemian and the Ukrainian-Slovakian border regions. In the process aspects as well as different methodological approaches to the analysis of border approaches to the analysis of natural spaces close to the border will be discussed.
