Anotace	Die internationale Konferenz, veranstaltet vom Institut für tschechische Literatur der Akademie der Wissenschaften der Tschechischen Republik in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Institut für Germanistik der UJEP in Ústí nad Labem, widmete sich dem Thema der Grenzen und Grenzüberschreitungen in der deutschen und österreichischen Gegenwartsliteratur mit Fokus auf den aktuellen europäischen Diskurs. Teilnehmer aus acht Ländern diskutierten über die (De)Konstruktion von europäischen Außengrenzen und die (Nicht)Existenz der Binnengrenzen innerhalb der Europäischen Union. Dabei wurde das Thema der Grenze und Grenzüberschreitung als literarisches Thema, Erzählstrategie sowie Theater- und Performance-Dramaturgie fokussiert und am Beispiel der Prosawerke und Theaterstücke nach 2000 einer kritischen Reflexion unterzogen. Das Thema der Grenzüberschreitung fand Eingang auch in das Konzept der Tagung, die in den 25 Beiträgen interdisziplinäre Ansätze aus Germanistik, Bohemistik, Slawistik, Theater- Medien- und Übersetzungswissenschaft zu verbinden wusste.
Překlad anotace	The international conference, organised by the Institute of Czech Literature of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in cooperation with the Institute of German Studies of the UJEP in Ústí nad Labem, was dedicated to the topic of borders and border crossings in contemporary German and Austrian literature with a focus on the current European discourse. Participants from eight countries discussed the (de)construction of European external borders and the (non-)existence of internal borders within the European Union. The topic of the border and border crossing as a literary theme, narrative strategy as well as theatre and performance dramaturgy was focused on and subjected to critical reflection using the example of prose works and plays after 2000. The theme of crossing borders was also incorporated into the concept of the conference, which combined interdisciplinary approaches from German studies, Bohemian studies, Slavic studies, theatre, media and translation studies in the 25 contributions.
