They have found use in many application areas as environment (water, air purification), pharmaceutical industry (medical treatment, drug delivery), chemical and food processing, bioseparation. The aim of the present study is to investigate the transport mechanism of pure propan-1-ol and toluene through a linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) membrane under different experimental conditions. The sorption, permeation and pervaporation experiments were made to obtain the diffusivity, flux and concentration gradient in the polyethylene membrane. .
