The results show that the parenting desires and intentions of gay men are weaker than bisexual and heterosexual men who claim same-sex attraction. The findings unveil the mechanism that links sexual identities to parenting intentions. In a CEE country with institutional barriers to non-heterosexual parenthood, this study fills a gap in the knowledge about the relationship between self-identified gay and bisexual men and not/becoming a parent.
