Anotace
Authentisches konservatives politisches und historisches Denken, mit einem Hauch von ewiger Gültigkeit und konstanter Unsicherheit, war und ist Aschenputtel in unserem Land. Tschechische Gesellschaft möchte und möge es nicht, Männer zu lesen oder zu hören, die skeptisch und kritisch unangenehm über uns selbst geschrieben haben und auch eine klare Sicht auf vergangene Ereignisse geäussert haben. Es gab solche wenige, und ihre politische Praxis betrachtete selten die Meinungen und Gedanken der Mehrheit. Ein solcher Mann der Vergangenheit, der durch die Nabelschnur mit der Habsburger Monarchie, dem katholischen Mähren und seiner konservativ denkenden Aristokratie und Bauernschaft verbunden wurde, war Graf Egbert Belcredi, der zwischen 1816 und 1894 lebte.

Authentic conservative political and historical thinking, with a touch of eternal validity and constant uncertainty, was Cinderella in Czech Lands. Czech society does not want and does not like to read or hear men who wrote skeptically and critically uncomfortably about ourselves and who also expressed a clear view of past events. There were few, and their political practice seldom considered the opinions and thoughts of the majority. One such man of the past who was connected by the umbilical cord to the Habsburg monarchy, Catholic Moravia and its conservative-thinking aristocracy and peasantry was Count Egbert Belcredi, who lived between 1816 and 1894.
