We present results of proteomic experiments aimed to bring a closer insight into the links between temperature and cytokinin signaling, and an involvement of calcium ions in cytokinin signaling. Using proteome profiling, we identified early cytokinin response proteins and phosphoproteins whose regulation by cytokinins is abolished in the presence of calcium signaling inhibitors and/or altered under cold or heat shock.
