The current studies concerning Carboniferous and Permian vertebrates, invertebrates, ichnofossils, paleobiogeography and biostratigraphy were presented. Interpretations of the depositional environments (marine versus fresheater) of the Carbonioferous and Permian fossil communities were discussed.

Překlad anotace do AJ (pokud původní anotace není v angličtině) Byly prezentovány nejnovější výsledky výzkumů týkajících se obratlovců, bezobratlých, ichnofosílií, jakož i paleobiogeografie a biostratigrafie karbonu a permu. Byla diskutována interpretace sedimentačních prostředí (mořské versus sladkovodní) obsahující karbonská a permská fosilní společenstva.
