    In this contribution, the possibility of growth of Cs2HfCl6 by vertical Bridgman method using the micro-pulling-down apparatus was presented. Modifications of the micro-pulling-down apparatus and optimization of the growth conditions were achieved. The optical and structural quality of grown crystal is reported and compared with the quality of the crystals grown by standard Bridgman method.
