Am Ende des 6. Jhs. verliefen aus Italien und dem Ostalpengebiet zahlreiche kulturelle Impulse nach Mitteleuropa, die hier das Reiter- und Wagenwesen, sowie ihren Reflex innerhalb des Totenrituals beeinflussten. Die Mehrheit der Gräber mit zweirädrigen Wagen und Trensengeschirren in Böhmen stehen noch ganz in endhallstättischer Tradition, bekennen sich aber bereits zur beginnenden Frühlatènezeit. Auffällig ist die stetig zunehmende Anzahl von Importen und Nachahmungen mediterraner Keramik in Flachsiedlungen der Späthallstatt- und Frühlatènezeit. Von einer ganzen Reihe bekannter befestigter Anlagen Böhmens, die in das 6.-5. Jh. v. Chr. datieren, zählt man vor allem drei Fundorte zu den wichtigen frühkeltischen Machtzentren: Závist, Vladař, Minice bei Kralupy nad Vltavou.

At the end of the 6th century come from the Northern Italy and East Alps region many cultural impulses to the Central Europe. The majority of the graves with two-wheeled chariots and sets of arches cheek pieces in Bohemia are still in the tradition of the end of the Late Hallstatt period but also overlap with the beginnings of the Early La Tène period. The most important fortified hillforts in Bohemia from the 6th-5th century BC are the so-called power centers Závist, Vladař, Minice near Kralupy nad Vltavou.
