The magnetization shows strong anisotropy in Ni substituted sample and ferromagnetic order at 30K for 5% substitution of Fe. A entropy contribution due to spin fluctuations was extracted from the specific heat data for UCoAl and UCo_0.95Ni_0.05Al in 0 and 10 T.
