The paper approaches literary work as a structured complex of literary aspirations beared by the text and analyzes the relation between the text's aspirations and author's aspirations, the parallel between literary aspirations and truth conditions, the applicability of the (special version of) the principle of charity in the spehere literary interpretation etc.

Autor obhajuje svoji definici literárního díla jako strukturovaného komplexu literárních aspirací textu a zkoumá vztah mezi aspiracemi textu a aspiracemi autora, korelaci mezi pravdivostními podmínkami a literárními aspiracemi textu a možné uplatnění zvláštní verze principu vstřícnosti ve sféře literární interpretace.
