Au XVIIIe siècle la situation politique, sociale et culturelle des pays tchèques était complètement différente de celle de la France, ce qui se reflétait également sur le théâtre. Dans les pays de la couronne de Bohême, il n'existait pas de théâtre permanent tel que la Comédie française. En termes de style, les deux premiers tiers du XVIIIe siècle constituent la période de l'apogée du baroque. Il est donc difficile, voire impossible de trouver des traces du mouvement des Lumières ou de transformations similaires dans les pays tchèques dans cette époque-là. Néanmoins, certains changements peuvent être observés dans le répertoire théâtral. Cette étude donne d'abord un bref aperçu de la situation du théâtre professionnel à Prague dans la première moitié du XVIIIe siècle. Dans la partie principale, l'auteur se concentre sur les pièces de théâtre écrites par les Jésuites en tentant de savoir si elles subissent une transformation similaire à celle que certains chercheurs voient dans les pièces jésuites des pays germanophones et de la Pologne.

In the 18th century, the political, social and cultural situation in the Czech lands was completely different from that in France, and this was also reflected in the theatre. There was no permanent theatre like the Comédie Française. In terms of style, the first two-thirds of the 18th century was the heyday of the Baroque. It is therefore difficult, if not impossible, to find traces of the Enlightenment movement or similar transformations in the Czech lands during this period. Nevertheless, certain changes can be observed in the theatrical repertoire. This study begins with a brief overview of the situation of professional theatre in Prague in the first half of the eighteenth century. In the main part, the author focuses on plays written by Jesuits, trying to find out whether they underwent a transformation similar to that seen by some researchers in Jesuit plays in German-speaking countries and Poland.
