Příspěvek vychází ze vzájemné korespondence Jakuba Demla a Jaroslava Durycha, publikované ve svazku Durychhalten! (2022) a z rukopisného výzkumu Demlova fondu v LA PNP. Soustředí se na nové poznatky o vzniku Demlových a Durychových děl či překladů, na jejich dosud neznámé nebo znovuobjevené texty a také na počátky Durychovy spisovatelské a překladatelské dráhy. Dotýká se též ediční praxe Florianova vydavatelství Studium.

This paper is based on the volume of Correspondence between Jakub Deml and Jaroslav Durych entitled Durychhalten! and on the research of manuscripts in The Literary Archive of Museum of Czech Literature. It focuses on new insights into the origins of Deml’s and Durych’s works or translations, on their previously unknown or rediscovered texts, as well as on the beginnings of Durych’s career as a writer and translator. It also mentions the editorial practices of Florian’s Studium edition.
