Příspěvek poukazuje na fakt, že počátek "klasických" (Arne Novák, Josef Hrabák) narativů brněnské literatury jako literatury industriální lze kromě česky píšících autorů (Josef Merhaut) stejně dobře identifikovat u německy píšících brněnských autorů (Philipp Langmann), které Novák i Hrabák pomíjejí. Dále jsou analyzovány shody mezi českou recepcí raného Merhauta a německou recepcí raného Langmanna a personální a institucionální interakci mezi těmito dvěma autory během spletité inscenační historie Langmannova dramatu Bartel Turaser (1897, č. Bartoš Tuřanský, 1898).

The paper points to the fact that the beginning of the "classical" (Arne Novák, Josef Hrabák) narratives of Brno literature as industrial literature can be equally well identified in the German writers of Brno (Philipp Langmann), who are overlooked by Novák and Hrabák. Next, the correspondences between the Czech reception of early Merhaut and the German reception of early Langmann are analyzed, as well as the personal and institutional interaction between the two authors during the production history of Langmann's drama Bartel Turaser (1897, trans. Bartoš Tuřanský, 1898).
