Na výstavě jsou vystavena díla současných českých umělců, z nichž většina vznikla právě pro tuto příležitost. Vystavená díla spojuje skutečnost, že se jedná o tvorbu členů Sdružení českých umělců grafiků Hollar a jejich hostů. Je vystaveno 38 prací předních českých grafických umělců, grafiky doplňuje monumentální sousoší Michala Gabriela, Zrození Venuše. Současná zobrazení mýtu o Afroditě jsou na výstavě konfrontována se sádrovými odlitky nejvýznamnějších antických plastik Afrodity, které ze své sbírky zapůjčil Ústav pro klasickou archeologii Univerzity Karlovy. Spojnicí mezi těmito antickými díly a současnou tvorbou jsou odlitky dvou renesančních reliéfů, které na výstavu zapůjčila Správa Pražského hradu. Tyto reliéfy z letohrádku Belveder v zahradě Pražského hradu představují vůbec první vystoupení Venuše v českém prostředí. K výstavě byl vydán katalog: Afrodita dnes, Praha 2021.

The exhibition features works by contemporary Czech artists, most of which were created for this occasion. The exhibited works are united by the fact that they are the work of members of the Association of Czech Graphic Artists Hollar and their guests. There are 38 works by leading Czech graphic artists, the prints are complemented by a monumental sculpture by Michal Gabriel, Birth of Venus. Contemporary depictions of the myth of Aphrodite are juxtaposed with plaster casts of the most important ancient sculptures of Aphrodite, which have been loaned from the Institute for Classical Archaeology at Charles University. The link between these ancient works and contemporary art is provided by two Renaissance reliefs, which have been loaned to the exhibition by the Prague Castle Administration. These reliefs from the Belveder Summer Palace in the garden of Prague Castle represent the first ever appearance of Venus in a Czech setting.
