Práce představuje první úplný český komentovaný překlad latinského pojednání Bohuslava Balbína, českého barokního polyhistora a člena jesuitského řádu. Ve svých Miscellaneích Balbín podal první a na dlouhou dobu poslední komplexní popis přírody Čech a toto je první vědecky okomentované vydání práce.

This work presents the first Czech commented translation of the entire, originally Latin treatise by Bohuslav Balbín, a Czech baroque polymath and member of the Jesuit order. In his Miscellanea, Balbín presented the first and for a long time the last comprehensive description of the nature of Bohemia and this is the work’s first scientifically commented edition.
