Článek obsahuje versologickou analýzu Nerudovy básnické prvotiny Hřbitovní kvítí (1857). Rozbor zahrnuje čtyři základní oblasti versologického výzkumu: metrum, rytmus, strofiku, rým. Verš sbírky je zkoumán v kontextu české i zahraniční poezie (H. Heine, W,. Shakespeare). Článek je doplněn souhrnnou metrickou tabulkou.

The article deals with the verse analysis in Jan Neruda’s first poem collection Hřbitovní kvítí [Graveyard Flowers] (1857). The textual analysis focuses on the examination of four elementary fields of versological research: metre, rhythm, stanza, rhyme. The verse in the collection is analysed in the context of Czech poetry, and foreign poetry (for example: H. Heine, W. Shakespeare). The article also includes a comprehensive metrum chart.
