Text vycházející z podrobného studia korespondence mezi Františkem Kalivodou, švýcarským teoretikem Siegfriedem Giedionem, polskými architekty Szymonem a Helen Syrkus a maďarským avantgardním architektem Farkasem Molnárem, objasňuje detaily vzniku bloku CIAM-Ost a jeho vnitřní fungování. Je zaměřen především na kongresy moderní architektury konající se ve Zlíně a v Brně v roce 1937. Studie se zabývá angažmá Kalivody v této organizaci.

Based on a detailed study of the correspondence between František Kalivoda, Swiss theorist Siegfried Giedion, Polish architects Szymon and Helen Syrkus and Hungarian avant-garde architect Farkas Molnár, the text explains the details of the creation of the CIAM-Ost block and its inner workings. It focuses mainly on the congresses of modern architecture held in Zlín and Brno in 1937. The study examines Kalivoda's involvement in this organization.
