V kapitole je ve stručné formě představen soubor archeologických nálezů kordů a levoručních dýk z území dnešní České republiky. V komparaci s písemnými prameny je pak nastíněn i sociální kontext těchto zbraní a jejich význam pro tehdejší obyvatele českých zemí. Více pozornosti je zde pak věnováno nedávnému nálezu kordu z Jaroměřic ve východních Čechách.

The chapter presents in a brief form a set of archaeological finds of rapiers and parrying daggers from the territory of the present-day Czech Republic. In comparison with written sources, the social context of these weapons and their significance for the inhabitants of the Czech lands at that time is outlined. More attention is then given to the recent discovery of a rapier from Jaroměřice in eastern Bohemia.
