    In this work it was to investigate the effect of salt (NaCl) on the oxidation processes (combustion) of high pressure high temperature nanodiamonds (NDs) and compare the properties (size, shape, and sp2 carbon content) of the oxidized NDs with and without NaCl. The thermal processes were studied by the non-isothermal simultaneous differential scanning calorimetry and thermogravimetry (DSC-TGA) analysis under Ar-O2 atmosphere (ratio 4:1) coupled with mass spectrometry (MS).
