Přednáška představila základní charakteristiky teoretického systému Vratislava Effenbergera prostřednictvím výkladu jeho ústředního pojmu „ideový model“. Tímto konceptem se Effenberger snažil v průběhu 60. a 70. let 20. století odpovědět na problematiku možnosti uchopení světa jako smysluplné jednoty. Během těchto let postupně dospěl k závěru, že takový zcelující obraz reality je do značné míry subjektivní a spočívá na specifické dialektice diskurzivního a imaginativního myšlení, jejíž vyústění představuje právě tzv. „ideový model“. Effenbergerova filosofická pozice byla na základě tohoto přístupu vyložena jako svébytná forma perspektivismu.

The lecture introduced the basic characteristics of Vratislav Effenberger’s theoretical system through an interpretation of his central concept, the “idea model”. In the 1960s and 1970s, Effenberger sought to address the problem of the possibility comprehending the world as a meaningful unity with the help of this concept. Over these years, he progressively concluded that such a coherent understanding of reality is largely subjective and relies on specific dialectics of discursive and imaginative thinking. The outcome of this process is what he termed the “idea model”. Based on this approach, Effenberger’s philosophical position has been interpreted as a distinctive form of perspectivism.
