Článek o poezii publikované na sociální síti TikTok. Autor dává tuto básnickou produkci do souvislosti s úspěchem poezie na síti Instagram a také se statistickými průzkumy, které dokládají rostoucí zájem o čtení a psaní poezie mezi mladými lidmi (zejména příslušníky generace Z). Dále se zabývá rolí doporučovacího algoritmu na výběr básnicky zpracovávaných témat. Vysvětluje také pojeme algorithmic self a jeho vliv na mediální chování tiktokerů. V druhé části článku popisuje několik básnických účtů českých a zahraničních přispěvatelů TikToku. Za charakteristické vlastnosti poezie na TikToku označuje snahu o autenticitu a také její terapetutický rozměr související s častým tématem duševního zdraví.

An article about poetry published on the TikTok social network. The author relates this poetic production to the success of poetry on the Instagram network, as well as to statistical surveys that demonstrate the growing interest in reading and writing poetry among young people (especially members of Generation Z). It also deals with the role of the recommendation algorithm for the selection of poetically treated topics. It also explains the concept of the algorithmic self and its influence on the media behavior of tiktokers. In the second part of the article, several poetic accounts of Czech and foreign contributors to TikTok are described. He points to the pursuit of authenticity as well as its therapeutic dimension related to the frequent topic of mental health as distinguishing features of poetry on TikTok.
