Recenze knihy o počátku Slovanů se zaměřuje na rozdílnost metodologických přístupů ke studiu počátků Slovanů a jejich jazyka. Z práce mimo jiné vyplývá, že kořeny některých mezinárodně diskutovaných odborných názorů na zmíněnou problematiku mohou tkvět v síle regionálních badatelských tradic nebo ze vzájemného nepochopení.

The review of the book on the beginnings of the Slavs focuses on the different methodological approaches to the study of the beginnings of the Slavs and their language. It shows, among other things, that the roots of some of the internationally discussed scholarly opinions on the subject may lie in the strength of regional research traditions or in mutual misunderstandings.
