Two waste pits from Prague-Hradčany, Kanovnická Street, No. 73/IV are being evaluated. The analysed assemblages belong to common local and regional production from the second half of the 16th century and first half of the 17th century. In addition to local ceramics, a number of imports were identified in this collection, such as fragments of Saxon stoneware and Lusatian slipware. The discovery of a Chinese porcelain bowl among the thousands of shards of local provenience is a rarity in Central Europe. Glass finds are represented by fragments of table and window glass. Exceptional finds often lead to assumptions about the owner's higher social status. However, if we wish to confirm such speculation, it is necessary to evaluate the overall context.
