Zpráva o úmrtí českého historika prof. Milana Haunera, jenž patřil k vynikajícím historikům mezinárodních vztahů s rozsáhlou publikační a ediční činností, jehož rodina byla za protinacistický odboj postižena německou perzekucí. Hauner působil na University of Cambridge, University of Oxford a později na dalších univerzitách ve Velké Británii a v USA. Po roce 1968 emigroval a do vlasti se po pedagogickém působení v zahraničí nakrátko vrátil po roce 1989.

Report on the death of the Czech historian prof. Milan Hauner, who was one of the outstanding historians of international relations with extensive publishing and editing activities, whose family was affected by German persecution for the anti-Nazi resistance. Hauner worked at the University of Cambridge, the University of Oxford and later at other universities in Great Britain and the USA. He emigrated after 1968 and briefly returned to his homeland after teaching abroad in 1989.
