Pokroky v oblasti umělé inteligence ve spojení s rozvojem robotiky, digitalizace a dalších oborů přinášejí radikální technologickou revoluci, která zásadně proměňuje podobu našeho světa. Objektivní reflexe dopadů těchto změn na ekonomiku, vzdělávání, sociální sféru, bezpečnost i na celou společnost vyžaduje efektivní spolupráci expertů jak z akademického prostředí, tak ze státní správy a soukromého sektoru. Tento AVex stručně shrnuje současnou situaci ve výzkumu a vývoji umělé inteligence. Zmiňuje i dopady a rizika spojená s širokým užíváním umělé inteligence a robotiky v mnoha oblastech lidské činnosti. Zdůrazňuje některé kroky, jež je nutné učinit pro to, aby Česká republika neztratila svou konkurenceschopnost a stala se technologicky vyspělou zemí budoucnosti.


Advances in artificial intelligence, combined with the development of robotics, digitalisation and other fields, are bringing about a radical technological revolution that is fundamentally changing the shape of our world. An objective reflection of the impact of these changes on the economy, education, the social sphere, security and society as a whole requires effective cooperation between experts from academia, government and the private sector. This AVex briefly summarises the current situation in AI research and development. It also mentions the implications and risks associated with the widespread use of AI and robotics in many areas of human activity. It highlights some of the steps that need to be taken to ensure that the Czech Republic does not lose its competitiveness and becomes a technologically advanced country of the future.
