IXPE 'the Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer is opening a new window in Astronomy, adding polarimetry to timing, spectral and imaging techniques for investigating physical and geometrical properties of celestial sources. After 5 months of operations, is now time to show not only astrophysical expectations but also preliminary results. A mission overview talk will present IXPE and its performances followed by specific invited talks by the topical working group chairs complemented by invited talk from recognized scientist in the field.
