Este trabajo reflexiona sobre el uso de evidencia estadística para culpar al ajedrecista Hans Niemann de hacer trampa contra Magnus Carlsen. Se argumenta que debido al problema de la inducción de Hume, dichas correlaciones estadísticas no pueden ser evidencia concluyente de que Niemann hizo trampa.

This work reflects on using statistical evidence to blame the chess player Hans Niemann for cheating against Magnus Carlsen. It is argued that, because of Hume’s problem of induction, such statistical correlations cannot be taken as conclusive evidence of cheating.
