The book 'Socialist and post-socialist urbanisms: critical reflections from a global perspective', edited by Lisa B.W. Drummond and Douglas Young presents 14 case studies from around the world that trace the fate of socialist urban projects in contemporary cities. The contributions are organized into three themes: housing experiences and life trajectories, planning and architecture, and governance and social order, and provide a new perspective on the specificity of the post-socialist urban experience.
