    In our contribution we present the results of the experimental feasibility studies of neutron powder diffraction profiles of several samples of Inconel 718 material which was used as the 3D printing material. Though the measurement at the medium power research reactor is rather time consuming, together with the y phase matrix, it was possible to distinguish small portions of some other phases corresponding to created precipitates which could have influence on the material properties.
