Here we report on the archaeological, archaeothanatological and sedimentological findings from 2017 and 2018 field seasons in Jebel Sabaloka, central Sudan. These findings confirm exceptional significance of the study area for understanding of cultural processes and strategies of Sub-Saharan populations in the context of climatic and environmental changes in Northeast Africa from the late Pleistocene to mid-Holocene.
