The poster attempts to explain the methodology of digital edition processing in the internationally recognized XML standard TEI 5 and to present the advantages that this form of access to sources offers to researchers in comparison with the classical edition. Using the example of the web presentation of the annual reports of the Jesuit College (http://reholnici.hiu.cas.cz/literaeannue/), he shows the connection with a specialized database (the Biobibliographic Database of Religious).
