This chapter explores the notion of connectivity and its application to research into the international circulation of literature. Firstly, it reinterprets Index translationum dataset from a connectivity perspective as an alternative to centrist and universalist approaches. Secondly, it analyses interviews with publishers and editors to explore how circuits of connectivity cast light upon the ways editors and publishers choose books for translation.
