Die Studie befasst sich mit der Entwicklung des Frauenwahlrechts in den tschechischen Ländern. Sie charakterisiert den Einzug von Frauen in den öffentlichen Raum im 19. Jahrhundert und die Wege, die dorthin führten. Im Mittelpunkt stehen vor allem die Wahlen zum Tschechischen Landtag 1908, bei denen erstmals Frauen kandidierten, und die Wahl von Božena Viková-Kunětická als erste Frau in den Tschechischen Landtag 1912.

The study deals with the development of women’s suffrage in the Czech lands. It characterizes the entry of women into public space in the 19th century and the paths that led to it. It mainly focuses on the elections to the Czech Regional Assembly in 1908, in which women ran for the first time, and the election of Božena Viková-Kunětická as the first woman to the Czech Regional Assembly in 1912.
