Při archeologickém výzkumu v ulici Křížkovského č. o. 10 v Olomouci byl v roce 2015 nalezen soubor textilií. Útržky tkaniny, tkanice a šňůrky pochází z vrstvy suťového násypu z druhé poloviny 16. století z prostoru zaniklého ženského kláštera u sv. Jakuba. Celkem bylo nalezeno 33 fragmentů hedvábné textilie se zbytky kovových nití, utkané technikou lampas. Celkovou podobu vzoru látky se nepodařilo zjistit, dochovaným ústředním motivem je pták připomínající labuť sedící pod stromem, jehož kmen má v dolní části osekané větve, v koruně lístky a dvě velké šištice. Podle analogií je možné látku z Olomouce interpretovat jako textilii pocházející z Itálie a datovat do poslední třetiny 14. až počátku 15. století. Šlo o tkaninu luxusní, vzhledem k nálezu v blízkosti kláštera se zřejmě původně jednalo o část církevního roucha nebo textilie sloužící při bohoslužbě. Nelze vyloučit ani pozdější druhotné využití textilie.

A series of fabrics was uncovered during archaeological research at 10 Křížkovského Street in Olomouc in 2015. Fragments of fabric, cords and strings came from a layer of a rubble fill from the second half of the 16th century, from the area of the former St. James Convent. A total of 33 fragments of silk fabric with the remains of metal threads woven using the lampas technique were found. The general form of the fabric pattern could not be determined, but the preserved central motif is a bird resembling a swan sitting under a tree whose trunk has branches cut off at the bottom, with leaves and two large cones in the crown. According to analogies, the fabric from Olomouc can be interpreted as Italian and dated to the last third of the 14th to the beginning of the 15th century. It was a luxurious fabric, and given the discovery near the convent, it was probably originally part of an ecclesiastical vestment or a fabric used in religious service. Secondary use of the fabric later cannot be ruled out.
