Diese Ausstellung ist, was der Titel verspricht – und sie ist mehr als das und anders als das. Präsentiert wird der Philosoph Jan Patočka in ausgewählten großformatigen Zitaten, in Tondokumenten und in einer s/w Fotoserie, die in den frühen 70er Jahren in der Nähe des geschichtsträchtigen Weißen Berges bei Prag entstand. Außerdem, und vielleicht vor allem, erinnert sie an den Samisdat und die Untergrundkultur der 1970er Jahre. Die Ausstellung wird vom IWM, dem Archiv Jan Patočka und dem Tschechischen Zentrum Wien organisiert.

This exhibition is what the title promises - and it is more than that and different. It presents the philosopher Jan Patočka in selected large-format quotations, in sound documents and in a b/w photo series taken in the early 1970s near the historically significant White Mountain near Prague. It also, and perhaps above all, recalls samizdat and the underground culture of the 1970s. The exhibition is organised by the IWM, the Jan Patočka Archive and the Czech Centre Vienna.
